Financial Literacy in Schools
The Lord Mayor is hoping that many of the livery and many businesses will volunteer time to support the financial literacy in schools campaign; there is lots of information about the initiative on the website. Supporting financial literacy in schools is surprisingly easy and might only take a few hours; you do not have to work in the world of finance to understand budgets/ good rates for loans/ why you might want to take out a pension etc.
