Master's Installation Party 2021
Celebrates the Installation of our new Master
Following Common Hall, Liverymen, Freemen and their guests are invited to stay on for the Master’s Installation Party, with a champagne canapé reception at Goldsmiths' Hall. This year, if elected, the new Master will beRobert Flather (pictured above). Robert was educated at Oundle School before studying Engineering at Sheffield University. Initially working in the steel industry he joined book printer Clays as General Manger of the Bindery. A spell as Chief Engineer of Jarrold Printing followed before joining Kolbus UK, the German based leading manufacturer of bookbinding and, more recently, packaging machinery. For 22 years he was Managing Director and is now Chairman with particular focus on the UK machinery manufacturing business Kolbus Autobox Ltd.
He is a Past Chairman of Picon, the Trade Association for machinery suppliers to the Printing, Papermaking and Paper Converting industries and also served as President of Global Print, the International Association of National Trade Associations for the Industry.
He has been a Liveryman of the Company since 2002, served in the office of Renter Warden, was chairman of the Stationers' Foundation and chairman of the Marketing Advisory Committee.
As Stationers' Hall is closed for major refurbishment, we are excited to announce that we will be holding this event at Goldsmiths' Hall. Places will be given on a first come, first served basis. We will inform you once this event is fully booked.
If you would like to reserve a place, please fill out the form below and you will be given first option to purchase tickets.
