Liveryman David Hudson writes: I’m pleased to advise that Peter Bonner and I represented the company in the inter-livery bridge tournament on Monday, 6 March at Drapers' Hall. We didn’t excel this year but came a respectable 12th out of the 35 pairs taking part.

A formidable panel which was chaired by BBC presenter and London Press Club director Samantha Simmonds  included the editor of Glamour UK Deborah Joseph, media commentator and ex-Sunday Mirror editor Paul Connew, social activist Nimco Ali OBE, Sunday Telegraph columnist Zoe Strimpel, Evening Standard reporter Emma Loffhagen and award-winning broadcaster and commentator Afua Hagan.

At a ceremony in Stationers' Hall on Wednesday, 22 February 2023, attended by members of the Court and former Lord Mayor Alderman Vincent Keaveny and Alderman Greg Jones, the Master of the Stationers' Company, Moira Sleight, signed the Company's Diversity Pledge.

Cakes and Ale - Shrove Tuesday

Tuesday, 21 February was Shrove Tuesday and as usual the Company marked the imminent start of Lent with a service at St Faith's Chapel, St Paul's Cathedral  followed by Cakes  and Ale back at Stationers' Hall as provided for in the will of Past Master John Norton .
