The Livery Autumn Dinner is a Black Tie event, in the traditional style with a top table and sprigs. We are delighted to announce that Cdr Debra Whittingham RN, Deputy Governor of HM Tower of London, will be the speaker at this event.
Debra joined the Women’s Royal Naval Service in 1981 and commissioned in 1986. Debra had a variety of appointments including Assistant Naval Liaison Officer, London; Royal Naval Targeting Intelligence Cell, JARIC; exchange appointment with the US Navy at the Office of Naval Intelligence; Assistant Staff Officer Operations, Flag Officer Sea Training and Training Officer at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
In 2002, Debra moved to the Defence Academy to run the Higher Command and Staff Course. Remaining at the Defence Academy, Debra transferred to the Joint Equality and Diversity Training Centre in 2005 and was promoted to Commander in 2008 and assumed role of Commandant JEDTC before retiring at the beginning of 2012, to undertake the position of Director of Operations at the Confederation of Service Charities.
Debra is currently, the Deputy Governor, Head of Operations and Security at HM Tower of London. When not in residence at the Tower, Debra enjoys country life, with a dog and cat in Lambourn, Berkshire.
Pre-dinner drinks will be served from 6.30 pm in the Court Room with guests seated in the Hall for dinner at 7.00 pm. A three course meal with wines, coffee and port will be served. The dinner will conclude at 10.15 pm, followed by a Stirrup Cup (after dinner bar) in the Court Room. Carriages will be at 10.45 pm.
Tickets are £95 inc. VAT and there is no limit to the number of guests you may bring. Spouses and partners are welcome to attend. Applications will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis.
If the Livery Autumn Dinner is unable to take place, refunds will be issued.
