The Livery Committee is hosting a Burns Supper at Stationers’ Hall and invites you to don your best tartan and raise a toast to Scotland's national bard at our exclusive black tie event on Monday, 26 January 2026.
A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796), the author of many Scots poems, who has several links to the Stationers. The suppers are normally held on or near the poet's birthday, 25 January, known as Burns Night.
Honour the memory of Rabbie Burns, the Bard of Scotland, at our Burns Supper black tie gala evening.
Tap your feet as the piper leads the parade of the haggis around the Hall then toast the wee beastie with the finest single malt whisky.
While you enjoy a traditional four-course banquet, Highland Dancers will enchant you from the stage.
Then the Immortal Memory to Burns will be delivered, followed by fun toasts. Every table will have drams of whisky, plus superb wines.
Entertainment includes the ever-popular Heads and Tails, with a bottle of champagne for the winner. There will also be a raffle and the evening is rounded off with a Grand Auction with five-star lots to bid for. Then one last dram of whisky before ye tak’ the high road.
Tickets cost £115 each and demand is bound to be high for this event so you are advised to book early.
