Shrove Tuesday Service followed by Cakes and Ale in accordance with the bequest of Alderman John Norton, Master of the Company in 1607, 1611 and 1612. This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are having to adapt and do things differently.
The Shrove Tuesday Service that normally takes place in the Chapel of St. Faith in the Crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral will be pre-recorded and streamed on the St Paul’s Cathedral Youtube channel at 11.15am on Tuesday, 16th February 2021.
A link to this channel is below: https://youtu.be/-gHAbrmY5pU. The Order of Service is linked in the description of the video and is downloadable to all who view the video. There is no password and the link will activate and be made public on Tuesday at 11.15 am for all to watch.
We are delighted that the preacher will beThe Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle, Dean of Westminster. The traditional ‘Cakes and Ale’ buffet lunch will be held virtually, by zoom, following the church service at 12.00 pm. At this point, we will hear from the Master, and we will hear a short update on our Vision350 project, showing photographs of the progress of the redevelopment works at Stationers’ Hall. The Hall certainly looks very different right now! To book for this, please click 'Register' now.
