Join Fellow Stationer and City Guide David Harry (aka The London Spy) for an entertaining and informative walk from Stationers’ Hall through the ancient City we all love so well. David is a qualified City of London and City of Westminster guide, as well as a professional magician and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
He is currently in the top 15 Tripadvisor tours in London with over 290 five star reviews, and has recently taken early retirement after 25 years in the City, to become a full time tour guide (and magician). The walk will take us on a route to the Guildhall via Cheapside and Bank.
Along the route we will encounter:
The Black beast of Newgate
Angel Wings of Paternoster Square
Preaching Puritans at St Paul’s Cross
Devil Worship in Cheapside
Real Magic at the Bank of England
Roman Martyrs at the Guildhall Complex
And much more!
Following the tour, there will be an optional lunch at Browns on Old Jewry which will be at your own cost. The tour will last between 60 - 90 minutes.
Dress Code: Smart Casual. As it is a walking tour, comfortable shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing are recommended.
