Join fellow Stationer Ulrike Murphy, a qualified City of London and City of Westminster guide, on another sinful walk, this time through the City of London.
Enjoy a walking tour of the capital vices or cardinal sins known as the Seven Deadly Sins, discover hidden alleyways that have witnessed more than a sin or two and let Ulrike bring the history of the City of London come to life.
You will hear about all seven of the Deadly Sins: Lust, Avarice, Sloth, Envy, Gluttony, Anger and Pride and meet the people who committed them, driven by their insatiable passions. At the end of the tour Ulrike will reveal the biggest sinner of all, the person who committed all of the Seven Deadly Sins in his life. Come and hear how the City of London is built on sin.
This walk will start in the heart of the City of London, outside the Royal Exchange and will finish at the Tower of London. Following the tour, Ulrike will lead the group to the George and Vulture Tavern near Bank Station where some tables have been reserved for an optional lunch at your own cost.
The tour will last approx 2 hours.
Dress Code: Smart Casual. As it is a walking tour, comfortable shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing are recommended.
How to book: Please email Dave Rosewell, the Livery Committee Treasurer by clicking on the button below to book onto this event. Please also let him know if you would like to have lunch at the George and Vulture afterwards.
