BLOC has brought its supplier community together through a series of online meetings, with over 80 key supplier partners attending to hear an update on the group one year on, including progress to date, recent developments and future opportunities.

Within these meetings, the focus was on how BLOC connects suppliers with its member community and the opportunities available to support growth through marketing, training, events and direct engagement. Suppliers also heard how BLOC’s team of 33 industry experts can work as an extension of their own teams, helping to build brand awareness and identify new opportunities across the membership.

Jeanette Caswell, MD of BLOC, comments: “BLOC is incredibly lucky to have such a supportive supplier community, and we are so grateful of their ongoing support. Our supplier partners are fundamental to what we do, so it was fantastic to have so many join us for these sessions. It was an opportunity to share what we have achieved together over the last 12 months, but more importantly to look ahead at how we can work even more closely to create value for suppliers and our members. There is a real opportunity to go further through stronger engagement, training, content, marketing and collaboration.”

One year since launch, BLOC now represents over 246 shareholder members and subsidiaries, with a combined turnover of £750 million and around £110 million in wholesale spend across workplace supplies, providing a strong platform to provide even greater value for both suppliers and members.
