All organisations can achieve so much more when they work in partnership with others.
This is something, perhaps, that the Stationers' Company knows only too well; as we rely so heavily on the huge amount of time and effort that so many of our members put into all of our activities.
However, it is not just the generosity and kindness of our members that we have to thank. The Stationers' Company, and our own charities (the Stationers' Foundation and the Stationers' Hall Charity), work closely with a number of other charities and voluntary organisations. The additional support that they provide is vital in achieving our aspirations and we owe them a great debt of thanks.
One way in which we can repay that debt is by recognising and acknowledging their support on the Affiliated Charities page on our website. Please take a look at it, when you have a spare moment.
Our inaugural affiliated charity is Greenwich Hospital, which has very generously provided financial support to help us set up and maintain a Royal Marines Cadet Unit at the Stationers' Academy (click this link for more details). Given the importance to us of both our academy and the Royal Marines, I can think of no better charity to be the first with which we are affiliated. More will follow soon!
