Demonstrations will include casting type in a hand mould, wood engraving, wood letter cutting, hybrid letterpress and Riso printing, poster printing and much more, and attendees will have the opportunity to view the Hot Bed Press 20:20 Exhibition, on display at Thin Ice Press, and 'Making Waves', a major exhibition about the art of Japanese woodblock print at York Art Gallery. York is the UK’s first and only UNESCO City of Media Arts, home to a world-renowned historic centre, a rich history of print, and a thriving contemporary creative scene.
The deadline for talk and demonstration proposals is Friday 1st May 2026, and the team also welcome applications to exhibit at the one-day Suppliers' Fair. Early Bird registration is open now and closes on 31st May 2026.
