What's it all about?
The seventh annual VMC’s theme in 2020, 'Fake it or Make it', provides a unique opportunity to learn from the experts addressing the falseness of news, abuse of data, Google stats, fake followers, greenwashing and importantly providing answers on the obverse – trustworthiness and authenticity.
For printers there’s a chance for a sneak preview of drupa 2020. Director, Sabine Geldermann will be a speaker and her team are available for one-to one sessions, booked in advance. Beatrice Klose, Secretary General, Intergraf will be on a panel and accompanied by her President (Intergraf is the Brussels-based network of 20 European/Scandinavian country’s trade associations working to promote and protect the interests of the printing and related industries, and to enhance the sector’s competitiveness and image through advocacy, information sharing, networking, social dialogue and EU projects.)
VMC will take delegates to a place that they may have heard of but not actually seen – the cutting edge of thinking. It will create an occasion where those in marketing and communications, print and design can see examples of the latest technology and ask themselves, ‘Is this something I should be using?’
