BURSARY RECIPIENTS COME TO STATIONERS' HALL FOR TWO IMPORTANT CEREMONIES.

Bursary Recipients come to Stationers' Hall for two important ceremonies.

On 25 April 2023, as a precursor to the Foundation Festival, the Master and Wardens Committee met to preside over two ceremonies; a ceremony to present the cohort of bursary recipients from 2022 with their bursary certificate and another to give those bursary recipients who had successfully completed their course the Freedom of the Company .  

Court Assistant Nicholas Brealey read out the citations and the Master presented the certificates to the following (from L-R: in the photo below)

Catherine Jayne Parker who is studying for an MA in Publishing at University College London
Thomas Heal who is studying for an MA in Publishing at the University of Kingston
Rohwana Ogunbiyi who is studying for an MA in Archives & Records Management at University College London
Kieran Bradley who is studying for an MA in Journalism  at the University of Salford
Alnafis Chowdhury who is studying for an MSc in Big Data Science  at Queen Mary College University of London
Callum Duff who is studying for an MA in Archives & Records Management at University College London
CiƩra Cree Drury who is studying for an MA in Magazine Journalism at City, University of London
Eleanor Sheppard who is studying for an MA in Library and Information Studies at University College London  
Charlotte Bonner who is studying for an MA in Publishing Media  at Oxford Brookes University
Celeste Wintery who is studying for an MA in Publishing at City, University of London
Poppy Burton who is studying for an MA in Magazine Journalism at City, University of London

Following on from that, Bursary Recipients from 2020 and 2021 (we are still catching up after the lockdown) who had successfully completed their Masters Degrees, and been approved by their mentors, were made Free of the Company.
