13 SEPTEMBER 2021
VMC 2021 is the 8th annual conference organised by BPIF (British Printing Industries Federation) with CDI, in conjunction with BOSS Federation and founding partners Precision Proco and Creative Race. It is free to register and over the three days we are sure that all Stationers will find something of interest in the programme. Please see Read More for full details.
Liveryman Robert McClements, curator of VMC & President of CDI comments:
“After 7 years of rapid growth we have broken free of geographic boundaries – into the online world. Generous sponsors and partners like drupa, Intergraf and DMA have made it possible to bring the very best informed speakers – it’s our contribution to the debate in the print industry and it’s still free.”
VMC’s 3-day programme between 21 – 23 September will allow participants to carry on with their day-to-day priorities and offers a ‘TV Guide’ for participants to choose from live keynote speakers, panel discussion and pre-recorded content; including 57 selected INKISH TV sessions and a guest appearance of Deborah Corn, the ‘Intergalactic Ambassador to The Printerverse’. Sessions also include thinking outside the box with innovation in concept design, new possibilities in Print finishing, and a masterclass from Pimento with business tech and funding sources.
Day 3 is curated by VMC's partner BOSS Federation and focuses on the role innovation plays in the successful implementation of strategy. Speakers will be sharing the latest on what lies ahead in environmental disclosure, what companies are doing to prepare prior to legislation and how businesses can transition from a compliance approach to an impact orientation.
Sustainability through Innovation is making sense of the new world with over 30 world-class speakers from the UK, across Europe and the US. Including an international panel discussion sharing the contrasting perspectives between Europe and the US in addressing sustainability.

VMC is a journey, exploring key topics, including the arguments for why and how brands need to innovate and stay sustainable, and what this could mean for your business as well as the environment. This antidote to Zoom exhaustion includes everything from a live demonstration by Canon to a master class on finishing as well as words of wisdom from US guru, Frank Romano.
The essence of VMC is a forum for to see and share the latest thinking on how the industry can strengthen its position as brands are re-imagining their presence and profiles, illustrated with war stories from speakers working with ASDA, DFS, Nestlé and Bugatti.
