Doug and Sam attended the last time that the Queen of the Realm was in Stationers' Hall which was to mark the 150th anniversary of the Journalists Charity.  Doug and Sam were also at the ceremony for Queen Camilla on July 15 this year.
Doug  had the honour as Master Stationer of cloathing as a Liveryman Queen Camilla, who supports many literary projects including those for young children.

After the ceremony in the Court Room, Queen Camilla spoke with those involved in the activities and charities of the Stationers including apprentices, bursary winners and pupils from the Stationers' Academies. Pictures of the ceremony are now displayed in the link corridor between the building entrance and the Hall.

Queen Elizabeth II, as the Patron of the Journalists' Charity, attended a reception at Stationers' Hall in London on May 7, 2014, to mark the charity's 150th anniversary. She was accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh and met with journalists, editors, and other media executives to celebrate the charity's milestone. The Journalists' Charity was started by Charles Dickens in 1864. The charity provides support to journalists and their families.
