On Friday, 11 November the traditional Silent Ceremony at which the Lord Mayor Elect was officially admitted as Lord Mayor of the City of London took place and The Rt Hon. The Lord Mayor Nicholas Stephen Leland Lyons took up his role as the 694th Lord Mayor of the City of London.
Past Master Flather was sent this photo taken at the Silent Ceremony by a fellow Past Master. It shows from right to left the former Lord Mayor, Alderman (and Liveryman of the Stationers' Company) Vincent Keaveney, The Reverend Canon Dr Alison Joyce who is Chaplain to the Company and Liveryman Andrew Marsden who is Non-Aldermanic Sheriff of the City of London for this year at the cermeony.
It was great also to see Andrew on the television on Saturday on the Lord Mayor's stand watching the Lord Mayor's show pass by.
