Northern Stationers’ Event at Cutlers’ Hall, Sheffield

This is a unique opportunity to visit and have a tour of The Company of Cutlers’ in Hallamshire which was established by an Act of Parliament in 1624. Its current building was constructed in 1832 and is widely accepted to be one of the finest Livery Halls in northern England.

The day will commence at 12pm with a comprehensive tour of this extremely impressive building and an overview of the Cutlers’ Company structure will be interwoven into the tour, by the curator, rather than delivered as a separate talk.

A two course plated lunch (main and dessert) will be prepared in the first floor reception room. After lunch, the High Sheriff of South Yorkshire, Sughra Begum DL will kindly do a 30 minute talk on the responsibilities and duties entailed with her role as High Sheriff.
