Lord Mayor's Show Day Parade
A Livery Committee Event
Due to Vision 350, the Hall will not be open this year for our usual lunch but we will be congregating as a Company en masse on Ludgate Hill to support Liveryman Alderman Vincent Keaveny and celebrate a Stationer becoming Lord Mayor!
Members and their families are invited to attend the Lord Mayor's Show Day Parade and meet at the Stationers' Office on Ave Maria Lane to support Liveryman Alderman Vincent Keaveny in the Lord Mayor's procession and watch the many exciting floats and entertainers pass by! Ludgate Hill and the vicinity of St Paul’s Cathedral offers a good standing view of the procession, which starts to pass by at about 11.15 am.
We are currently looking into the possibility of joining a lunch at a fellow Livery Company. If you would like to register your interest for this, please email Lucie McCord at email@example.com
At 12.15 pm the Lord Mayor’s coach pauses at St Paul’s for a blessing on the steps of the Cathedral, after which the Lord Mayor moves down Ludgate Hill on his way to the Royal Courts in the Strand. Tickets to watch the procession (seated in the grandstand outside St Paul’s Cathedral) are available to purchase by visiting www.lordmayorsshow.london or by telephone: 01908 300106. Alternatively, the show can be watched free from the pavement in Ludgate Hill.
It would be useful to know how many Stationers plan to attend so please book to give us an indication of numbers.
