Young Stationers' City Livery Tour

Wednesday, 10 June 2026 - 18:30 until 20:30

Join us for a very special tour of the City of London, as Past Master Helen Esmonde and Liveryman Ulrike Murphy lead us through the winding streets of the Square Mile to discover the history behind some of our neighbouring Halls, and other notable parts of City and Livery life through the ages.

The walk will begin at Stationers’ Hall at 6:30pm and is expected to end at the riverside Samuel Pepys pub at 8:30pm, where you will be able to enjoy a pint of a local London ale/lager.

Tickets are only £15, and places are limited to 30 people, so book fast to make sure you don’t miss out!

Helen Esmonde is a Past Master of the Stationers’ Company and serves on the Stationers’ Court. She has worked in publishing in Canada and London and ran Esmonde Publishing for over 30 years. Helen sits on the boards of several educational and publishing charities, and co-wrote The City Unlocked.

Ulrike Murphy is a Liveryman of the Stationers' Company and a qualified City of London and City of Westminster guide. Her intimate knowledge of London's streets, alleys, and hidden histories is matched only by her lifelong passion for the people who shaped them. Her tours bring the past vividly to life - laced with humour, insight, and the occasional well-placed irreverence.
